VVW Blankenberge is located on the Flemish coast and lies halfway between the French and the Dutch border, three miles to the south of the harbor of Zeebrugge.
The harbor of Blankenberge was a fishing port in the early days (around 1700) but is now a modern marina. Uniquely situated near the city center and the beach. Blankenberge is perhaps the most popular and busiest resort on the Flemish coast. Its strengths? A wide beach, the dike with numerous cafes, restaurants, night life, food stalls and shops. The seaside resort offers something for everyone! The well sheltered marina is easy to walk to and from. When you go though the channel of half a mile you'll see the registration jetty right after the new port office directly on the starboard side.
VVW Blankenberge has 350 berths. All berths are large boxes with finger piers, electricity and water facilities. Wi-Fi is also available free of charge. VVW Blankenberge has a completely new clubhouse since early 2014. It houses offices, modern sanitary amenities, a bar and a gourmet restaurant with a large terrace with stunning panoramic views of the harbor and marina. Services in the immediate surroundings: a sail maker, gear, repairs and maintenance of engines, a boat hoist, well stocked water sport shop and a supermarket. Via the street you'll have immediate access to the beach and the dunes. A short walk alongside the marina brings you to the center of the city of Blankenberge. VVW Blankenberge is proud holder of the prestigious "4 Gold Anchors" award and the Blue flag!
Furthermore VVW Marina Blankenberge is near the following sights: Lighthouse Blankenberge (±225 m), Kids karting Leopoldpark (±350 m), Minigolf Leopoldpark (±350 m), Sportland Bowling (±650 m) & Black Light Mini Golf (±750 m).
