Flower Parade 2024

The Flower Parade in Blankenberge is the traditional closing of the summer season in the coastal town. The Flower Parade was first organized in 1895 and therefore boasts a long history. The floral event is organized by the City of Blankenberge. Each year the Flower Parade is according to a specific theme. About 20 large floats participate every time, marching bands enlighten the procession and also show orchestras and dance groups ensure extra colorful and lively entertainment. The procession can count on more than 100,000 visitors each year.

A floral procession means a lot of work. Visitors are able to visit the building locations, where the builders of the floats and flower arrangers are at work, the day before. A few float builders are carnival groups and come from Aalst for instance. Also prizes are given annually for the best floats.
